Nohuayun Meal Center
Nohuayun is a small town about 45 minutes from our church, Resurrection Baptist in Merida, Yucatan Mexico. The population is right at 900 people. There are over 300 children between 0-14 years old. Many are left alone all day on their own with no adult supervision. Drugs and alcohol are the predominant problems in this community. There was a young 12-year-old boy who committed suicide in the village and there have been others that have died from overdose of drugs and suicide. Drugs and Suicide are a growing problem in this village."
Our goal with the Nohuayun Meal Center is to equip the local church there to minister to the children in the village and help give them hope for a better path with Salvation and Life in Christ instead of death. We want to offer them the Truth of God's Word in love instead of empty promises from the world and broken hearts!
Each week, we fill their hearts with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and their little bellies with a nutritious home-cooked meal prepared by our local church family in Nohuayun.
We've already seen many kids here in Nohuayun come to Christ in salvation and be baptized. God is blessing our "Nohuayun Meal Center"! We look forward to the many more eternal blessings to come!!!

La Semilla Meal Center
"La Semilla Meal Center" is located in Timul, Yucatan. Timul has a population of over 1,000 people. This meal center has become a partnership with a new church plant, Seed Baptist Church, right there in Timul, Yucatan. Pastor Luis Xuffi is the pastor there and has been a blessing to the new meal center in Mexico. God has been blessing with over thirty kids in their last attendance.
The meal center and church sanctuary have been constructed of wood pallets and a tin roof held up by sticks. They are doing everything they can to have a place for the children to gather and hear God's word! They present the Gospel, play some games, and serve a nutritious meal to each kid who shows up every Saturday morning! The Lord has been blessing the meal center and its eternal impact on the community in Timul, Yucatan, Mexico!
